movie night status

I can't stand the fifth element, for the record. I find it to be
saccharine and silly. The elemental power of love defeats the dark god
from beyond the moon, style of thing. Feh.

Has anyone mentioned Memento, Darren Aronofsky's Pi, Takeshi Kitano's
Brother, The Bride with The White Hair, Dark City, City of Lost Children,
Red, Kiki's Delivery Service, Il Postino, etc?

If it's bad movie night, why doesn't the list start with "mystery science"
and end with "theater 3000?"
