hi all,

apparently i overstepped in my wording about ed wood and for that i 
apologize. i was just describing a director who worked in hollywood in 
the 1950's when being non-conformist labeled you in many disparaging 
ways. i wasn't disparaging him (other than his movie making) but trying 
to show how he was disparaged in other ways too. he was such an odd duck 
that they made a movie about him. and to use a common but misused 
statement, i have gay and transvestite friends, been to a gay wedding 
(where i toasted them), i support marriage equality, etc. i was just 
trying to paint ed wood as someone who stuck out in his time for more 
than just bad movies.
