This is flat-out unacceptable behavior from a community member, let alone a
YAPC sponsor.

I am surprised that nobody else has spoken up about this, but rather
thought that the unsubscribe request sent to the list was the egregious
behavior, and am additionally surprised that we've not heard form the
organizers, or whomever is supposed to enforce the CoC.
