Why can't people unsubscribe themselves?

For a bunch of techies I find it interesting that there are number of 'please unsubscribe me' requests on this list. At least 3 so far. If *we*, as techs, can't navigate to a simple web page and fill out a simple form then what hope do our customers/users have?

(BTW: Just more flame-bait to distract from the recent spate of TSA and coffee-shop bashing. :-( What is it about post-conference that seems to be putting people on edge?)

(BTW#2: Despite the high level of chit-chat on the list I appreciated all of the email. That plus looking at some of the live streams made me feel like I was part of the conference.)
