Fun update: We asked the return guy at the car rental place, he laughed
and said that that switch on the TxTag device in the car does exactly
nothing. They've removed the protective shield that is going away when
the switch gets pulled on all of their cars, which means it's *on* all
the time.
So, the minute you pass only a single TxTag toll camera, the device will
be charged (regardless if the switch is on or off), and the rental place
will charge your credit card with a) the toll and b) $2.95 for *each*
day of your rental period retroactively to a max of $14.95 per month.
