I'm also not sure if this referred to the Houston conference as well.
Back in 2006, I stayed in the
"prison dorms" (which I found quite pleasant) and I found the towels
they provided quite serviceable,
but YMMV.  I didn't notice whether they provided toiletries besides
toilet paper, since I always
travel with a fully-stocked kit (why use tiny hotel soaps when I can
bring my own?).
