But you know the one really essential bit of swag that was missing?
Pens. I mean, I know they're done to death, but I actually didn't
bring a pen (I had pencils and, um, a whole lot of crayons) because
hey, the swag bag is always full of them, right? (I ended up paying
$13 in the campus book store for four Bic sticks and four Eveready
AAs. And they say *tuition* is expensive.)

I'll volunteer to fix that for YAPC-NA 2008 if somebody else will
volunteer to remind me in time to order some.
