Thanks to Uri for jump-starting the socialism (well, socializing)
discussion for YAPC::NA 2005 in Toronto.
I'm not sure who all is subscribed to this list, but I think it is
mainly people who have attended YAPC::NA conferences in past years
(especially 2004 in Buffalo).
In case anyone on this list doesn't know, YAPC::NA is being held in
Toronto this year, Mon - Wed 27 - 29 June 2005.
If you're interested in attending, please read the registration
announcement,
http://yapc.org/America/registration-announcement-2005.txt
and then go here
http://yapc.org/America/register-2005.shtml
to get the link to the web-form for registration. There is no deadline
for registration as such, but our primary group accommodations
reservation will expire as of Thursday 12 May and it could be very
difficult to get desirable (and eventually, any) accommodations after that.
If you're interested in being a speaker at the conference, please read
http://yapc.org/America/cfp-2005.shtml
and make a submission via the web-form linked to from in this page. The
deadline for the call-for-papers is Monday 18 April 2005.
How to book accommodations will be emailed directly to registrants
shortly after registering, and will also be posted to the web site in
detail soon.
Any questions? Just get in touch with me!
Thanks, and I hope to see you in Toronto in June for the conference...
Cheers,
- Richard
