So, not being one to want to step on anyone's toes, but what's the
plan for adding people to this particular organization? Is one of us
going to post something to chicago-talk at pm.org, or are we making
private announcements/requests to those we know are amenable to
having a separate (city of) chicago pm?

Also, I am working up a presentation on testing - but it's pretty
specific to my current company, as I've written a Test:: module to
test the horrid pseudo templating system we currently have in use,
and are extremely unlikely to migrate away from, as we're quite
entrenched in it - what with (at least in one branch of the website)
about 99,000 production (plus archival backup) files.

The format is hunks of perl (accessing a custom object) embedded
inside HTML comments, which gets parsed (in a couple of passes,
really) and evaluated, and then tons of substitutions happen.

But since no one at the company knows anything about testing, I have
to include an introduction to writing tests. I'm also touching on
Perl::Critic and Devel::Cover -- I'm also trying to incorporate a
little HTML::Lint, too :)

Once I nail down more of my Test:: module, and the presentation to go
along with it, do you guys think there'd be any interest in this
particular presentation? I could also talk a bit about how I started
writing a parser for this templating system but instead turned it
into a Test:: module? :) Though I'm not really sure I've gone about
it in the best way, so I suppose a little advanced feedback would be
appreciated :)
