Perl Mongers: Next Wednesday July 4th

A couple of corrections/clarifications about my reminder message.
Yes, it really is 5:30 this Wednesday like the subject line said,
not two months ago like the body of the message said. That was a
bit of poor cutting and pasting on my part - sorry.
'What is the template toolkit?' was another question. I'll leave
Shaun to give a more comprehensive answer on Wednesday, but here's
a brief overview (paraphrased from the web site):
The Template Toolkit is a fast, powerful and easily extensible
template processing system written in Perl. Great for combining
data (eg: from a database) with a template to produce a report.
Allows separation of formatting code from program logic for
easier maintenance of both. The Template Toolkit is ideally
suited to the creation of static and dynamic web content but
unlike other solutions (eg: ASP, PHP etc) it has many uses
outside of web applications. It is robust, reliable, well
documented and freely available as Open Source.
Since we're covering two topics, both presentations will be fairly
high-level, but hopefully with a few good examples to give you a
feel for the potential.
See you there.
