Hi!

31.5 -  2.6 sind wiedermal Linuxwochen in Wien, und da wir ja dieses 
Jahr die YAPC veranstalten, sollten wir auf jeden Fall einen kleinen 
Infotisch machen & ein bissl werben (und auch sonst Perl promoten...)

Ich kann/mag sicher nicht die ganze Zeit dort (alleine) rumsitzen. Wer 
haette also nocht Zeit & Lust, ein paar Stunden oder Tage einen 
Perl-Tisch zu betreuen (sprich: Rumsitzen, YAPC bewerben, Fragen 
beantworten, plaudern, hacken, etc)

Bitte um zahlreiche Meldungen an die Liste, ich werd dann mal Anmelden, 
dass wir gerne einen Tisch machen wuerden.

Ach ja, Linuxwochen-CfP gibts natuerlich auch, und ein paar Perl-Talks 
koennen da nie schaden (gut auch zum ueben fuer die YAPC ...)

Ein Tag sollt sich bei mir ausgehen.

Da ich selber dann auch ein wenig linuxwochen begutachten wollen w?rd,
w?rden eben ein paar Stunden sein (so 4-5h).
W?r ja nicht zu verantworten, dich alleine sitzen zu lassen ;-)

Call for Papers & Participation - YAPC::Europe 2007 in Vienna
=============================================================

Vienna.pm is officially announcing the call for participation for Yet 
Another Perl Conference Europe 2007. This years conference theme is 
"Social Perl".

The conference will be held in Vienna, Austria, from 28th to 30st August 
2007 at the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration.

We found sponsors to invite some famous international Perl hackers. 

Thanks to nfotex for inviting Larry (and Gloria) Wall, to Anonymous 
Donor for getting Damian Conway from Australia to Austria (it's quite 
expensive to get the 'al' out of Australia...) and to geizhals.at for 
inviting Audrey Tang and Mark Jason Dominus. 


Call for Papers
---------------

Please submit your talk proposals using the interface provided on our 
website no later than 23:59 GMT on Sunday, 27th May 2007.

We are looking for talks taking 20, 40 or 60 minutes, covering various 
topics related to Perl. More information on the Call for Papers can be

Costs
-----

* Regular attendance:        100 EUR
* Students and Early Birds:   80 EUR
* Business/Sponsor Tariff:   200 EUR


Regular attendance costs 100 Euro, and 80 Euros for students. Early 
birds only pay 80 Euros (if paid until 31st March 2007). There is also a 
voluntary business/sponsor tariff at 200 Euros, which is an easy way to 
sponsor YAPC::Europe 2007 and Perl in general.

You will not only get three days packed with interesting talks and 
people, but also a goodie bag, a conference t-shirt, an invitation to 
the attendees dinner and the unique opportunity to see renowned members 
of the Perl community with orange mohawks.

As YAPC::Europe is a community-driven conference, we're not in it for 
the profit. But should we make one, all money will be used for funding 
further Perl 5|6 development, future YAPC::Europe conferences and for 
advancing Perl usage / the Perl community in Austria.

Hallo,

das Problem k?nnte daran liegen, dass Storable einen XS-Anteil hat. Und 
vielleicht wird die
Library vom Dependency-Scanner nicht entdeckt.

Probier mal die Option '-l' aus.

Hmm, danke f?r den hinweis,
Leider kein erfolg.

Ich habe sowohl -l c:\perl\site\lib\PDF (das hat mein exe auf 10MB)
Als auch -l -l c:\perl\site\lib (dann waren es 16mB) aufgeblasen.

Ich glaube auch nicht, dass eine Lib fehlt, was mich beunruhigt ist der teil der Meldung:

 D:/cpanrun/build/5-8-0/lib/DynaLoader.pm line 229.
 ^^^^--- ist sicher nicht auf meinem rechner!

Ich habe schon den ganzen verzeichnisraum (alle pl und pm datein) nach diesem string durchsicht kann ihn aber nicht finden.

Seltsam ist, dass das ding interpretiert klaglos funktioniert.

I'm pleased to announce the inaugural Perl 6 Microgrants program.  
Best Practical Solutions (my company) has donated USD5,000 to The  
Perl Foundation to help support Perl 6 Development.  Leon Brocard,  
representing The Perl Foundation's grants committee, will work with  
me to select proposals and evaluate project success.  We'll be making  
USD500 grants to worthy Perl 6 related efforts. We're hoping to fund  
a range of Perl 6-related projects over the life of the grant  
program.  Accepted grants might be for coding, documentation, testing  
or even writing articles about Perl 6. The program isn't tied to any  
one implementation of Perl 6 -- We're interested in seeing proposals  
related to Pugs, Perl 6 on Parrot, Perl 6 on Perl 5 or any other Perl  
6 implementation.  Generally, we're interested in seeing projects  
that can be completed in 4-6 calendar weeks.

Submitting a grant proposal
---------------------------

To submit a grant proposal, please email us at perl6- 
microgrants at perl.org with the following information:

* A two to three paragraph summary of the work you intend to do
* A quick bio - Who are you? Is there opensource work you've done  
that we should have a look at?
* A brief description of what "success" will mean for your project -  
How will we know you're done?
* Where (if anywhere) you've discussed your project in the past
* Where you'll be blogging about your progress. (Twice-weekly blog  
posts are a requirement for getting your grant money)

We'll be accepting proposals on a rolling schedule. We expect to pay  
out these first 10 grants over the course of the summer. Depending on  
how things go, we'll then either find more money for more grant  
programs or we'll wind up the program and move on to other endeavors.

We're really excited to get rolling. Submit your proposals early and  
often. Don't let somebody else beat you to the punch ;)

PDF::API2::Simple hat eine dep auf PDF::API2.

da ich der author von PDF::API2 bin kann ich mit
bestimmtheit sagen das PAR an den dynamischen
'require'-statements scheitert.
