As an update to my earlier reply on this ...

Something has come up such that it would work especially well for me 
if our meeting was on thursday, assuming 7pm at UVIC as per usual.

Specifically, another (unrelated) group I'm involved in has just 
setup a meeting for 5pm on next thursday the 17th at 5pm, at UVIC. 
Assuming that doesn't go beyond 2 hours, I can then have that meeting 
and ours back to back, without conflict.  This is good for me 
considering I travel by bus to Victoria each time I have a meeting 
from Deep cove, so I have at least 4-5 hours travel overhead per 
trip; the combination of 2 events saves me much time.

That said, I'll still submit to coming an extra day if some other 
schedule would be best for the group as a whole.
