[VPM] found the problem with the array ref

Ok, I found the problem print "@$arrayRef" does indeed work correctly.
The issue is some of the code is written as a daemon and some as a
library. I was modifying the library code in one spot and forgot to
restart the daemon process so the library reloads.

I thought I was doing it correctly.
