I don't anticipate having problems with a meeting on any day in December, except that thursdays are usually a conflict so I would avoid them.

On another note, I talked to Darrell Wick recently, whom I've mentioned before.  While I haven't received confirmation to the effect, he might join this list or come to meetings, or send students this way come January classes.
