*Job Title: Senior Unix Systems Administrator / Programmer*

Responsibilities:

·         Email systems and storage management for a large multi-site 
infrastructure with well in excess of 10 million accounts

·         Maintain and enhance customised IMAP and SMTP applications 
(written in C and Perl)

·         System monitoring, troubleshooting and bug resolution of 
application errors.

·         Provide Tier 3 technical support to major clients

·         Execute new system roll-outs, migrations and modifications



Technical Environment:



·         Various distributions of Linux deployed in a large scalable 
clustered environment with many open source applications

·         PHP, SOAP, Exim, IMAP, MySQL, Java



Requirements:

·         5 years of large ISP or ASP experience in the areas of network 
operations, server operations and systems administration

·         Excellent shell/perl scripting  experience  is essential,  
ability to program in C is highly desirable 

·         SQL database experience, with MySQL experience preferred

·         Implementation experience with a large distributed system 
related to the above technical environment

·         Excellent communication, interpersonal, team, and leadership 
skills
