Hello,

I'm the project manager for a client who owns a successful small company with resources, a never ending supply of good ideas, and big plans. We are about half way through development of a website that will offer 'contact management' services to registered members. For personal reasons our current Perl developer can't give us the hours he thought he could, and we need some help. But he will be accessible to give you as much help as you need to become familiar with our code and what it does.

We have about 2 weeks full-time work and probably some part time after that. We are doing the prototype for the site in Perl, and when we've got it the way our customers want it, we'll do the whole thing again in PHP. So, if you know PHP that would be an added advantage, but it's not necessary.

You would be working remotely, but you need to be in the Lower Mainland so we can meet face to face when necessary. We require detailed daily reports by email stating how many hours worked and what was worked on, and we would probably need to contact you at least once a day for a discussion by phone. You would have to sign our Creative Development Agreement that promises confidentiality and acknowledges that we own the code. This company pays very quickly.

If you're up to this level of client communication, and know you're way around Perl, contact Ken Lapp at 604-224-3931 or ken at standardgraphics.net .

Thanks very much,
Ken
