Whilst having never been to Saltburn, I have been in the vacinity of Cleethorpes. I was amazed that anyone could think that somewhere with a beach made of stones - they are way too big for pebbles - and a howling gale for a breeze could be a holiday resort. Just shows you what I know! I have avoided Cleethorpes, and I'm being deliberately unfair to Saltburn. The fewer tourists know how gorgeous it really is up here, the better as far as I'm concerned.
