    Hi folks,<br>

    There is likely to be an opening available for a Perl developer in

    the team where I currently work, in the new few weeks.<br>

    <br>

    The role will likely involve the following main duties:<br>

    <ul>

      <li>Web application development using Perl, Catalyst, and

        DBIx::Class</li>

      <li>SQL, especially MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server</li>

      <li>Parsing/analyzing a wide variety of languages, using grammars

        and regular expressions<br>

      </li>

    </ul>

    Some knowledge of, or interest in, the following would be useful:<br>

    <ul>

      <li>Information retrieval frameworks, e.g., Lucene</li>

      <li>HTML, CSS, and JavaScript toolkits such as Dojo<br>

      </li>

      <li>Perl on Windows</li>

      <li>XML/XSLT and Perl API's for them<br>

      </li>

      <li>Subversion source code management</li>

      <li>Trac project tracking<br>

      </li>

      <li>Continuous integration using Buildbot<br>

      </li>

      <li>The Nullsoft installer system</li>

    </ul>
