I liked them too. Actually I preferred the Type 3.

Now I have a Sun Type 7 USB keyboard on my PC, and it
stll has the keys on the left, as well as (sorry hugh!) a
Return key -- it's about a year old.

I find I make slightly fewer typos with this keyboard than with
the HP multimedia keyboard supplied with the computre when
I bought it.
