[Thousand-oaks-pm] Parrot 1.0 released!

After years of waiting Parrot 1.0 is released!  Read more on parrot.org:

They have a really nice release plan going that also explains the

My understanding is Perl 6 (Rakudo 1.0, rakudo.org) in its full glory is
*not* included, but should be on its way sometime soon (a couple months
I'm hoping).

We should make the next mongers meeting (April 8th) be a Parrot 1.0
party.  Can someone volunteer to demo Parrot 1.0?
I wonder how hard it would be to write GOL (Game of Life) in native
parrot code (is it still PIR?)...
