Content for our website (what should we include? Should it be strictly meeting date/time/instructions? Should we post minutes from meetings? Should we start a message board?) 2.) Job openings. I get messages from recruiters looking for Perl programmers. Some of them might be valid. Some might be fishing for potential candidates but not actually have a job to offer (they never explicitly say that. It's always "Oh, THAT position was filled, but we want to get your resume into our system.) If you're not going to be able to attend tonight (or even if you are), feel free to contribute your thoughts on these topics. Now that we are back with regular meetings, what is the next level? How will we get there? Daniel Sherer __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! We are eager to see presentations of Perl/CPAN technology which has made your life easier or more exciting (Bone::Easy demonstrations will not be tolerated). We will have a laptop ready with internet access and overhead projector. This way you can actually show us your module in action. Here are some of the presentations we have had in the past few months + A talk on Data::FormValidator which ended up being a talk on CGI::Prototype and HTML::Seamstress (with a bit of Class::DBI thrown in). + A demonstration of Commands::Guarded, a CPAN module which allows for resumable program execution + a blackjack program which is headed for CPAN and possible competition between LA.pm and 1k.pm Please RSVP with your proposal for a talk of about 15-30 minutes.
