Thanks for your time earlier.......as dicussed here is a copy of the
requirement I have with Nokia in Farnborough. The initial requirement
is for 6 months and the hourly rate is negotiable although I expect it
to be between £35-45 per hour depending on the successful candidate's
experience.
GSCM is a globally distributed project, where team members are located
at all Nokia R&D sites and responsible for the software configuration
tool Synergy/ CM (supplied by Telelogic).
The candidate we are looking for is needed to help maintain and
develop applications used and installed on all Nokia R&D sites. The
main activities on a day to day basis is to fix problems with Perl
scripts, develop and update web based applications (running under
apache) and help maintain data in an Oracle database. You will be
working with with a multi-national team and hence good communication
skills are a must.
Requirements:
Good understanding of Perl (OO Perl preferable)
Knowledge of Apache web servers
SQL (preference given to knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL)
Additional skills (good to have)
Knowledge of Synergy/ CM
Oracle database administration
