Agreed. This wasn't a cry for help just yet, it was just a rambling 
explanation of where I am wrt perl and what I'd like out of the PM list 
- "help when I get stuck", not "help me with this enormous project".

hope this clarifies... here's hoping I get time to "get stuck" soon.
