Those prevayler guys come off like a bunch of kooks.  That's got to be the
most smileys I've ever seen outside of a chat room.
 
Basing the core rationale for your product's acceptance on the
follow-through of technology R&D firms seems shaky, at best. (In this case,
RAM technology breakthroughs)

the RDBMS replacement software I mentioned. They do away with a need to have
a database by having all business objects in memory.

Virtual Machine software for Linux, and XP. Looks like a good replacement
for VMWare if you are only running Linux, but not so good in the windows
