I think it would be great to go for coffee/dinner/drinks tomorrow
*Tuesday 6/1 at 6.30pm*. The University Cafe is close on Tuesdays.
We could go to the Country Corner (on 25A). It has outside sitting
and offers good menu options.

Let me know if you haven't been to the Country Corner before
and you need directions or a ride.

|Also, is anyone looking to carpool to Buffalo for the Perl Conference next month?

Just a reminder: the 2004 YAPC::NA conference will be in Buffalo,
New York, June 16-18, 2004, at the State University of New York at
Buffalo.

Registration costs $85 U.S.: registration, schedule,
accommodations info, etc., at http://www.yapc.org/America.

Rob and I will be driving to Buffalo. We plan on leaving on
Tuesday 6/15 and be back on Sunday 6/20. Let me know if you are
interested in sharing the ride.

YOU CAN STILL RESERVE A DORM ROOM if you are on a tight budget.

Check out www.yapc.org/America. The talks are really very
interesting. Tutorials are also included:

- "Minimal Perl for UNIX People"
- "CPAN modules every perl programmer should know"
- "The Open Source programmer's guide to getting a great job"

If you are into number crunching do not miss "Perl and Inline
Octave", if you are into computational biology make sure to take
advantage of the free tours at the UB Center for Computational
Research.

There are also talks on mod_perl, mod_parrot, and Perl 6.

Last but not least there is a great social program.

And remember to make the wave when Rob and I present!

Best regards,

Kostas
