mjd is working on a new book, and is doing a "Code Review World Tour"
in order to help write the book and promote it. from his posted
schedule (http://perl.plover.com/flagbook/tour.html) he'll be in
portland for oscon.

continuing our recent trend of getting great post-oscon speakers who
are in the neighborhood, i'd like to get him to come give a talk at
spug in august. i'd be happy to host him for his stay, if necessary.
there are some prerequirements for the visit, which include submission
of code for him to refactor and use during his talk. i think it could
be truly enlightening, and i'm hoping others will feel similar. if so,
let's get in touch with him soon, and make this happen.
