SPUG: Release party anyone?

Hello Perl friends!

It's been a while. I have been working in SLU for a while now, and have
been intending to host a regular users group. But there's been something
keeping me from getting a bunch of people together in the same room.

I don't mean to jinx the situation, but if I were to host a monthly
perl-themed meetup group on, say the third Tuesday of each month, would
there be interest in getting together? If can show that there is community
interest, I think I can convince the company to host the meetings.

I worked with my employer to today approve the launch a pre-release of some
code I've been tinkering with as open source. The repository is presently
only readable be contributors. I'm presently looking for contributors to
review the work I've done so far and to volunteer to help me fill in the
stubs I've started to outline.

So please let me know either direct, on the list, or via another channel,
whether you would like to RSVP for regular meetings, contribute to the
forthcoming google-auth-library-perl codebase, or both!

C.J.
