SPUG: Looking for Amazon build system knowledge

I am on contract at Amazon and as I am putting my first package together, I'm finding gaps - most likely in my knowledge but probably in the tools, too. 

There are no good configuration files in this group. Heck there aren't *any* configuration files in the group. 

Anyone currently (or recently) with Amazon that would be willing to trade insights for coffee, milkshakes, beer, lunch or dinner?
