Train service from Seattle to Portland is reasonably reliable, but the
Portland to Seattle trains are commonly hours late. Their excuse is that
the Northbound trains start in California and ar subject to delays. I
would think that they would have figured out how to meet a schedule after a
hundred years or so.

Instead of giving money to found colleges to promote learning, why don't
they pass a constitutional amendment prohibiting anybody from learning
anything? If it works as good as the Prohibition one did, why, in five
years we would have the smartest race of people on earth.
