SPUG: Pain illustrated

The narrator's frustration notwithstanding, I was shocked to see that it 
worked so well.  That instance had obviously not been trained to his 
speaking voice, even so I thought it did a surprisingly robust job.

And in the course of thrashing around trying to write code in notepad, 
the narrator actually demonstrated some pretty rich functionality. I was 
prepared to mock it but ended up being impressed.
