actually, right now it only performs bytecode translation from .net to
parrot. you can read about that in the overview, at
http://svn.perl.org/parrot/trunk/languages/dotnet/doc/overview.pod

this is very much true. parrot development is moving along, but it's a
*huge* project, and more contributors can only make things easier.
