SPUG: CPAN question.

I am trying to update or add some perl modules through CPAN.  The problem is 
I do not want to update perl yet.  Everytime I want to add another perl 
module through CPAN, CPAN want to update perl to 5.6.1.   I have perl 
5.005_03 built for i386-freebsd.
