Particularly since the SPUG footer which contains the words "Zubscribe" and
"Unzubscribe" get's included in the replies, and has been getting included
in replies for some time, but has not been changed. Does majordomo also look
for that particular footer and ignore it?

I have a hard time believing that anyone would write list software that
cared about the three-character combination "sub" _anywhere_ it might appear
in the message. That seems ridiculous (particularly on a Perl
list!) Perhaps it's only at the beginning of the line?
Anyway, I'm testing it out to see what the list thinks about it.
