Geospiza Inc is a bioinformatics software company that specializes in software
systems for data management and analysis. Our web-based systems allow
researchers, laboratory managers, and technicians to get the most information
out of their data. Researchers use a Finch-Server to submit work requests,
check progress, obtain results and perform further analysis. Technicians
obtain work requests through the Finch-Server, store, process, and track data.
Laboratory managers use the Finch- Server as a tool to assess the quality of
laboratory operations, process data, and perform data analysis.

We also support an active research program. Current efforts are focused on
improving algorithms for large-scale genomics sequence assembly and developing
integrated tools for expressed sequence tag (EST) clustering. These efforts
are funded in part by SBIR grants. With a strong set of collaborators,
Geospiza continues to develop innovative solutions for DNA sequencing labs.
