SPUG: OpenBSD

Does anyone on the list use OpenBSD that could give me some help on it?
I am trying to install it on an HP Vectra VL6 and it stops at
rootdev=<insert hex> rrootdev=<insert hex> blah blah blah

anyone know why?
The boot disk and CD rom are both good. I have installed it sucesfully on an
HP Vectra 8 and its fine.
