we have not made public announcements yet but last week,<br>
Renee Baecker and myself have opened the web site of the<br>
Perl Ecosystem Group.<br>
<br>
Some of you might have followed my earlier postings about the<br>
subject but in short, we are trying to be an active connection<br>
between companies (and other organizations) using Perl<br>
and the Perl community.<br>
We try to raise money to fund the promotion of Perl and Perl based<br>
projects. (e.g. we will finance some well known Perl speakers to<br>
participate on non-Perl events) or hackathons etc. We will try<br>
to make it easier for companies to hire Perl developers.<br>
We will try to make it easy for companies to "give back"<br>
to the Perl community while raising the profile of Perl.<br>
<br>
As I am going to be at T-Dose next week I'd like to use<br>
this opportunity and meet with people (CTOs, lead<br>
developers etc) at various companies in The Netherlands<br>
that rely on Perl.<br>
Either during T-Dose in Eindhoven or the day before<br>
or after it elsewhere.<br>
<br>
I'd like to ask for your help in locating these companies<br>
and getting me introduced so we might be able to meet.<br>
<br>
I know it is very short notice, but I was too busy with some<br>
clients in the last couple of weeks.<br>
