[sf-perl] Social event?

Summary:  Tomorrow night (thursday), Cafe Greco in North Beach,
Columbus Ave between Vallejo and Green/Stockton, 8pm (or earlier?).
Or something else?

Okay-- I'm still not sure I can make it, but it looks like I'm defacto
organizer-- it sounds like we're talking Thursday, tomorrow night
(apologies to you Wednesday folks, one of these days we're going to
start doing stuff on Wednesdays, I promise).  The next question is
what time frame?  We were briefly talking about the Ferry Building,
which is an idea that I like, but unfortunately most places there
close up pretty early (an exception is Gott's which is open until
10pm, a basic burger joint where vegetarians are distinctly second
class citizens).

I was strongly considering pushing for Naan N Curry on O'Farrell, but
their web site seems to indicate that they're closed (Forever?  For
remodeling?  And... how did I learn this before the hordes of yelp?):

So, I'm going to break our usual rule of sticking near BART stations,
and just suggest a place I feel like going to: Cafe Greco in North
Beach, Columbus Ave between Vallejo and Green/Stockton:

This is a classic italian cafe, strong on espresso and deserts, but
with decent sandwiches, and also wine and beer.  They've got enough
tables that a bunch of us can probably just drop in without
reservations.

I can probably make it there by 8pm (they're open until 11pm).  If you
want to meet earlier, feel free to call a time.  And if you don't like
my idea, you can find yourself another defacto organizer.
