I'm looking for people's advice on finding a Perl job on the West coast,
and I'm doing this on behalf of someone else. (Me - I'm happily ensconced
in London!)
Here's the deal: I'm teaching Perl (online) and one of my students lives a
long way from any Perl shop. He'll happily relocate to the West coast of
the US to get a Perl job. As to me - I'm happy to provide an honest
appraisal of his skill set if an employer is thinking of taking him on. So
my questions are:
* Where on the West coast is it easiest to find a Perl job?
* Which companies are open to taking on beginner-intermediate developers?
* Are there any recruitment agents who specialise in Perl and would go the
extra mile to find a placement for a newbie?
If you're a company or recruitment agent who's interested, you're welcome
to email me off list.
Thanks in advance!
