Just a quick reminder, our next meeting is next Tuesday at iParadigms
in Oakland. It is literally right at the 12th street BART convention
center exit, so should be very easy to get to. Hope to see you there!

For our Tuesday August 23 meeting, David Storrs will be talking about
MooseX::Workers. MooseX::Workers makes writing multi-process code a
breeze. It handles the forking, the reaping of child procs, and makes
it trivial to managing logging across all your children. It even makes
it easy to pass data structures from the children back to the parent.

We'll cover the whole thing from soup to nuts using a simplified
version of some real production code as an example. There will also be
a short intro to Moose for those who haven't worked with it recently.

This meeting will take place at iParadigms LLC, which is right at the
12th street BART station in Oakland (a 10 minute bart ride from
downtown SF).  Pizza and drinks will be sponsored!
