My company (Reactrix; http://www.reactrix.com) provides and
supports interactive advertising devices which are located
in large public venues (e.g., shopping malls, theaters):

   http://www.reactrix.com/index.php

Because these devices are interactive, creating a spot takes
a combination of artistic and programming skills. An artist
generates the images and works up a storyboard; a programmer
specifies the interactions, physical model, etc.

This is a bit like game programming, but:

   * The typical development cycle is only a couple of weeks.

   * The programming uses XML and (if need be) Perl.

   * The API is closely tied to the underlying technology.

If you think this sounds interesting, please get in touch. I
can pass your resume in to the appropriate folks and (if I've
had a chance to chat with you) comment on your application.
