TWiki is, as you may recall, a Perl-based wiki. It has
been around for quite a while now (as these things go :-)
and is used by quite a few companies.

Some news on my side. I recently co-founded TWIKI.NET, a
new commercial software development and support company.
We announced the company at LinuxWorld in San Francisco
in August. We offer subscription services for our
Certified TWiki distribution, which gives IT departments
a hands-off TWiki deployment with automated software
updates. We also offer support for exiting TWiki
installations. Please visit http://twiki.net/ to learn
 more.

We will have a TWiki User Meetup on 29 Nov 2007 05:30pm -
08:00pm at the Plug and Play Tech Center in Sunnyvale, CA
 (http://www.PlugAndPlayTechCenter.com). Chief Catalyst
Rod Beckstrom and I will give a short "Wikis at the
Workplace" presentation, followed by participants showing
their use of TWiki. We will provide free Pizza and drinks.

At the meetup we will offer prizes including an iPod Nano
and signed copies of my book, "Wikis for Dummies," and Rod
Beckstrom's book, "The Starfish, and the Spider." The
prizes will go to participants who present the most
interesting use of TWiki in their enterprise.

I'd be delighted if you could join. Also, please feel free
to share it with your wiki-friendly friends. Amir Shobeiri
(in CC) is coordinating this meetup. RSVP at
 http://newcareer.meetup.com/110/calendar/6697394/ .
If you are not registered on meetup.com, you may choose
 to email me your RSVP.
