[sf-perl] Make a hash key's value dependent on the key itself?

xml is grand, but I think I would still be at risk of an edit-time
copy error.  The risk would simply move from the source file to the
config file.  I wanted a solution that is fairly cut-and-paste-error
resistant.  The ::SOURCEHOST:: token seems to be that solution.
