Just to give you a little more information so that you understand our background.<br>

Currently, we are running Perl 5.6.1 on Solaris because SybPerl only works with that version of Perl. We run Sybase databases on Solaris. I would like to upgrade Perl to the latest version but my understanding is that SybPerl is not ported to the latest version of Perl. We are looking for the alternative to SybPerl which will work with the latest version of Perl.<br>
