Following in the footsteps of The Perl Review[0], I've set up a Google
calendar for our group. Here are the public URLs:
XML: http://www.google.com/calendar/feeds/u2lhjv6gevv28lip6ui7h0mu7g%40group.calendar.google.com/public/basic
ICAL: http://www.google.com/calendar/ical/u2lhjv6gevv28lip6ui7h0mu7g%40group.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics
HTML: http://www.google.com/calendar/embed?src=u2lhjv6gevv28lip6ui7h0mu7g%40group.calendar.google.com
So far there's only one event, our monthly meeting. Let me know what
you think. I like Joel's idea of allowing anyone to create events that
are then approved by someone with authority. I think that can be done
through calendar invitations, but I haven't completely explored the set
of features.
