I'm trying to download(ftp) a file based on the current date. When I grab
the year from localtime(), I get 100. When I print the complete time, I get
2000.  Is this supposed to
be the correct response?

<code>
($sec, $min, $hour, $mday, $mon, $year, $wday, $yday, $isdst) = localtime();
print "\nmonth: $mon";
print "\nyear:  $year";

$myDate = localtime();
print "\n\n$myDate";
</code>

<result>
month: 4
year:  100

Wed May  3 14:44:03 2000
</result>
