10th Annual OpenWest Conference
Call for Papers ends tonight
Today is the last day of our Call for Papers!
If you're interested in presenting at this year's OpenWest Conference,
you'll need to get your submissions by the end of today. Our CFP closes at
midnight (MDT).

The OpenWest Conference is one of the best Open Source conferences where
community members from around the western U.S. come together to learn and
share information about the latest trends and technologies in development,
system administration, and more.
Blind community voting

We use blind community voting as the main factor in deciding which speakers
to invite. Other factors include the number of talks per category,
similarity to other talks, travel cost, and the maximum number of talks for
each speaker. We do NOT take into consideration gender, race, religion, or
sexual orientation.

This month Perl Mongers will be meeting at:

*UVU Business Resource Center*
*815 West 1250 South, Orem, UT 84058*

If you've ever attended PLUG you already know where the BRC is located.
For those who haven't been there, it's a nice venue located just south of
the main UVU campus.

We will be meeting *Tuesday, April 11th at 7:00pm*.  So if you've been
missing out on Perl Mongers because Draper has been to much of a hike from
the center of Utah County, join us in Orem this month.

Our presenter will be *James Lance*. His topic will be *Vim Plugins*. Plus
we will have a *15 Minute Intro to Vim*. So even if you're not a Perl
lover, you may find this interesting

Food will be provided by our sponsor, Endurance/Bluehost.

Tonight at 7:00pm, Perl Mongers will hear from James Lance on Vim Plugins,
following a brief intro to vim for newcomers.

800 W University Pkwy, Orem, UT 84058

Why are we meeting here instead of the Mojo offices in Draper?  Well, Mojo
moved to downtown Salt Lake City, and we haven't had a chance to explore
issues such as parking.

Tonight food will be provided by our sponsor, EIG / Bluehost (and I believe
EIG / Bluehost IS hiring, by the way).
