I hope everyone had a nice holiday break, and you're refreshed for another
year of Perl Mongering! :)

In December, we had a nice Holiday dinner at Empire Brewing Company. Quite
a few people showed up, and a good time was had by all. Great food and
great beer.

Well, it's time once again for another meeting. This Wednesday, January
17, we will be having a meeting at the UofR campus, at 8:00pm, in the
usual place. Directions can be found on the web site.

This months topic will be "Perl & SSL", by Tony Whyte. This will be very
useful for you to learn about some security issues, and especially for any
of you web programmers out there.
