Job Title: Web Developer-Perl/mySQL programmer
The web programmer will be part of a small team tasked with the
maintenance and enhancements of the company's eCommerce site. The team
develops new functionality for the site and implements third party
applications to improve customer interactions.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
* Min. 3-5 years advanced Perl programming
* Advanced MySQL programming and knowing how to optimize queries and
processes.
* 2-4 years HTML experience, incl. manual coding.
* Heavy Javascript & CSS experience
* eCommerce web site experience
* Apache web server knowledge
* AJAX and SOAP XML Knowledge
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
* eCommerce web sites experience
* Interchange shopping cart experience
* Experience in designing/maintaining web sites focused on external
customers
* College degree
* Business focused with an understanding of Web usability issues and
solutions
SKILLS NEEDED:
* Must be self-directing, independent and motivated
