Personally, I don't have time for another public forum.

However, with all of the recent layoffs in the tech area, it would be a
great tool for people to network and stay in touch. If I get laid off soon
(knock on wood) then I'll have lots of spare time to talk with other local
techies. :)  I think it'll be a good thing for the community if you can
spread word to people and keep it from being inundated by non-locals.
