How about someone talking about Beowulf clusters? Anyone in the area done
anything with those? I can't make the meeting this month so it's just an
idea that came to mind.

Another topic of interest may be Java development under Linux. Java is
supposed to be "write once, run anywhere" but is it "write once, compile
anywhere?" I tried to get a professor to answer this for me, but she could
not grasp the different between execution of software and compilation of
software. Go figure.
